FOR UKRAINE
Dear friends,
Dear friends, We kindly ask for financial support for our foundation. We have been focusing on helping Ukraine for few weeks. We help mothers and their children who, fleeing the war, came to Poland, most often with one small suitcase, basic personal items, without knowing the language and no money
So far we have managed to:
- buy medical supplies (mainly dressings and antibiotics), a large transport has already gone to Ukrainian soldiers fighting at the front,
- prepare meals that, thanks to numerous volunteers, are transported to the border with Ukraine, where many people crossing the border have not eaten anything for several days,
- renovate and equip some of the premises of our foundation, we created a cozy hostel there. Three mothers with three children have been living with us for a week,
- renovate a common room where Ukrainian children now spend their time and are able to study.
We are currently collecting funds for:
- renovation of other rooms so that more people could find shelter with us (in Warsaw, the possibilities of providing accommodation in private houses, hotels, dormitories are narrowing),
- equipping the common room with educational materials and Ukrainian books,
- employing teachers and a psychologist who will take care of the children, enable them to continue their education, and teach them the Polish language,
- professionally activate Ukrainian mothers (arrange paid jobs for them and look after their children).
